Volunteer/Groomer Appreciation Social

How many times have you been out on the ski trails around Homer this winter and thought, “Wow, could it be any better? How lucky am I?” Well, if you’re like the rest of us it’s been quite often, and thanks to our local volunteer groomers we’ve had many exceptional days on the trails. If you’d like to show your appreciation, our annual “Thank a Groomer” appreciation gala is the place to be. If you’re a handy type and want to bring something you created to give to our groomers please do, if you are musically inclined Jane Weibe is usually looking to add to her fabulous band. Hopefully a food truck will be there so plan on buying yourself something great to eat, and maybe you can spread the wealth and buy a groomer dinner, or a beer, or both! They deserve it! Hope to see you there, and if you can’t make it but want to donate to the “Beer for Groomers” drop off your donation at the brewery.
